For a long time I wanted to realize my old dream. Through small paintings called Shin-on, I wish to leave a mark of my beliefs for the future. They capture the experiences of my life, my artistic expression, and the connection between where I came from and where I have grown as an artist. The Small Shin-on is based on a disk which is seven inches in diameter, and it represents the first point of a circle which eventually has a diameter equal to that of the Earth.  In Japanese, Wa means circle and also friendship and harmony. With the first Shin-on disk, it is possible to get closer to the Shin-on concept.
